Nodilus is an online network designed to help facilitate the gathering of people around ideas, activities and projects, with the intent to inspire, foster and support the development of healthy and sustainable communities.Our mission is to harness the collective wisdom and creativity of the network, and provide pathways to actions that are pro People, pro Planet and pro Peace. It is a virtual and real life space for building relationships that result in meaningful actions.
Nodilus focuses on core topics we must address in order to shepherd our culture toward a just, sustainable future – food production, transportation, health and healing, education, activism, habitat, and local economies, to name a few. Nodilus technology links people and groups with ideas, resources, activities and projects along specific affinity and geographic lines. It provides users daily opportunities to align their actions with their values and life purpose, and to connect with like-minded individuals and networks.
The intent of Nodilus is to assist in the efficient creation of communities based on sustainable values and permaculture principles:

* Nodilus?: A social network is a social structure made of nodes (which are generally individuals or organizations) that are tied by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as values, visions, ideas, financial exchange, friendship, kinship or trade. The Nautilus is a cephalopod that has survived relatively unchanged for millions of years and is often considered to be a "living fossil”, having survived major extinction events. Nodilus is a new form of social network, one that is focused on gathering people around ideas, needs, projects, activities and events, with the intent to foster regenerative culture.

* Regenerative?: Inspired from Nature, a regenerative system is intended to create vibrant ecologies and exuberant cultures that continue to generate a surplus of fertility and vitality. Whereas the highest aim of sustainable development is to continue growth without harm, the end-goal of Regenerative Design is to redevelop systems with greater-than absolute efficiency, that consistently create an overabundance to allow for the co-evolution of the human species amongst other thriving species.
